Abstract

This study investigated constraints to extension contact with women farmers in Enugu State. Two hundred and thirty eight respondents consisting of 92 ApP staff and 146 women farmers selected through multi -stage sampling technique were involved. Questionnaire and interview schedule were used for data collection and the analytical fool employed was factor analysis. Specific factors identified as limiting extension contact with Women farmers in EnuguState include: lack of technical competence of ADP extension staff a(rd poor recommendation domain participation from the extension workers' perspective while the women gave technological incompatibility and inadequate logistic support as factors.
